Staff
Selection
Students who have graduated from a past conference return to fill student staff positions each year.
The positions are selected by the Executive Staff of the Foundation. Students are informed at the beginning and at the end of the conference, that if they want to be considered
for a staff position at the next conference, they must send a written letter to the President of the Foundation
requesting they be considered for a staff position. Competition is keen. Normally 20 to 30 letters are on file
requesting consideration for the limited staff positions. The selection process usually takes place in mid January and
is completed by mid February so that students have plenty of time to arrange their spring schedule to
accommodate the dates of the conference. Notification of selection to a staff position is made by letter
from the President of the Foundation.
